Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, organization, the topic you choose, and your message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our service providers receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and an approximate location based on your connection. If you arrive through a link with campaign tags, we also record those tags.

Information sent with the form. Along with your message, we record the time, the page you sent it from, your IP address, and your browser type, which helps us filter spam. If campaign details are stored in your browser (see below), they are sent too.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry and communicate with you.
• To keep a record of our conversations.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.
• To learn which outreach brings visitors to the site.
• To protect the site and filter spam.

We don’t sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Cookies and browser storage

Our analytics service sets cookies to recognize repeat visits. The site also uses your browser’s storage to remember campaign details for up to 90 days, so they can be included if you later send an inquiry. Those details reach us only if you submit the form.

Analytics cookies and campaign storage are off if you turn them off below or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland, analytics doesn’t set cookies.

Browsers’ older Do Not Track setting has no agreed standard, so we don’t respond to it. We do honor Global Privacy Control as described above.

Service providers

We share information only with companies that help us run the site and our business: website hosting, font delivery, email delivery, contact management, and analytics. They handle it on our behalf and only for those purposes.

Our analytics provider is Google Analytics. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, sale, or reorganization of our business.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries and related correspondence for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a record of our work together. You can ask us to delete yours at any time. Campaign details stored in your browser clear themselves after 90 days.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and we take reasonable steps to protect the information we receive. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

This site isn’t intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
